The G&G Piranha TR Gas Blowback pistol is constructed using high quality materials, with a full alloy slide and strong polymer frame. This ensures the pistol is wobble free, and has a solid design.

The outer barrel is locked in place for maximum accuracy, with minimal slide and trigger wobble. The slide is extremely smooth, with one of the smoothest splitting movements seen on the airsoft market.

What makes this pistol stand out is its split slide design. Unlike traditional pistols, only the rear half of the slide moves backwards, meaning less force is required to cycle the pistol due to the reduced weight of the moving parts. The reduced weight improves the gas efficiency of the pistol, and increases the cycle rate allowing you to fire faster, as well as making the gas last longer.

If you’re after efficiency you’ve found it. G&G’s new gas system improves the efficiency of this gas pistol hugely. Thanks to G&G’s new Ceramics whirl valve less gas is wasted, and is more efficiently transferred to the BB, and due to the materials makes the pistol less prone to cool down meaning you can get in more quicker repeat shots for longer.

The pistol features a highly advanced hop-up system, as part of G&G Armament’s new Gas System. The hop-up unit and inner barrel are all one drop in unit, which is adjusted by twisting the inner barrel to adjust the amount of applied hop. The hop features a positive click, and securely locks into place making the pistol highly accurate. The hop is adjusted from the front of the pistol down the barrel using the supplied ‘rip round’ hop-up adjustment tool, and can also be adjusted by removing the barrel and hop assembly from the replica once the slide and frame have been split.

The front of the pistol features a lower pistol rail allowing the attachment of a wide variety of pistol torches and lasers, allowing you to customise the pistol to truly make it your own. If you want to attach a suppressor or tracer unit this is possible thanks to the female threaded outer barrel, which with the use of an adaptor allows you to attach a wide array of aftermarket suppressors. Because the barrel is locked in place, and not free floating, you do not have to worry about cycling, allowing you to attach heavier suppressors and standard tracer units.

The pistol comes supplied with a carry case, magazine, and speed loader, giving you everything you need to get out and start playing: Just add BB’s (available here).

This pistol is the perfect addition to any Airsoft skirmishers arsenal, with optimal performance and plenty of options for customisation, this pistol is a welcome addition to any collection.

To buy an airsoft weapon in the UK you must have a valid airsoft defence.

This is not a licence, it is basically just proof that you intend to buy an airsoft weapon for use in airsoft.

An airsoft defence could be a UKARA or membership with the British Airsoft Club, and various other forms of defence.

You can only obtain an airsoft defence once you are over the age of 18.

To get an airsoft defence the law is that you should play at least 3 games of airsoft, and that you must have been playing for at least two months.
You can still buy an airsoft gun without a defence, provided you are 18 or older. If you choose to do this we would, by law, two tone (paint in a bright colour) parts of your chosen weapon. This is because an airsoft gun is considered a RIF aka Realistic Imitation Firearm, because they are so close to the real steel, whereas when you paint parts of it in a bright colour it becomes an IF aka Imitation Firearm. The reason being that the bright colours make it look less realistic to the public, and therefor less likely to be mistaken as real, were it to be used for any other purpose than airsoft.

When you order a gun from us you will need to add your defence details in the comments section of the cart. If you do not have a defence you will need to write the colour that you wish to be used for two toning your airsoft weapon.

Here is what's stated in the VCRA (Violent Crime Reduction) Act:

For airsoft skirmishing, the Association of British Airsoft is putting in place arrangements to allow retailers to check that individual purchasers are members of a genuine skirmishing club or site. The key elements of these arrangements are:
1. new players must play at least 3 (three) times in a period of not less than two months before being offered membership
2. membership cards with a photograph and recognised format will be issued for production to retailers
3. A central database will be set up for retailers to cross-check a purchaser’s details
4. member’s entry on the database will be deleted if unused for 12 months.
The defence for airsoft skirmishing can apply to individual players because their purchase of realistic imitation firearms for this purpose is considered part of the “holding” of a skirmishing event.
