The Golden Eagle MCR LMG will give you the impression that it's just another M4, but look closer and you will see its an M249 hybrid.

This airsoft LMG ticks so many boxes including reliability, durability and intimidation factor. This is a full metal Airsoft weapon, and has the perfect balance between weight and firepower for an LMG. 

The battery goes in the stock, first you need to remove the two butt plate screws, then slide off the battery housing. Once you've installed the battery and re-assembled the stock, you then have a 6 position sliding stock on top of a standard AEG buffer tube. The lower receiver is a standard M4 platform, so standard universal M4 mags can be used. 

With this LMG it is the upper receiver that changes the gun entirely, looking like the spawn of an M249 and an M4.

This airsoft support weapon also comes with a box magazine included, which has a fake bullet belt that locks into the upper receiver to finish the look of a support rifle. Just in front of the upper receiver is a push down button which allows you to remove your outer barrel assembly in one easy click.

The hand guard is full metal and features a standard 20mm RIS/RAS rail on the top and bottom, making it quick and easy to add most accessories, including sights, torches and lasers. The sides of the Golden Eagle MCR LMG are Keymod cut for a modern combination of rail sections to suit your taste.

At the front of the gun there is a full metal, partially fluted, outer barrel, large front adjustable iron sight and it is finished nicely with a 14mm CCW threaded outer barrel and flash hider. Removing the single grub screw on the flash hider allows you to remove the flash hider and replace it with a tracer unit or suppressor should you prefer.

The gearbox within this build is a standard alloy cased Version 2, like an M4, making it easy to source and fit upgrade parts.

The included 2600rnd box magazine is also battery operated. Using 4x AAA batteries (not included), and you can also flick a switch to choose between sound activated or auto winding mechanism. As with any normal M4 top fed high capacity magazine, you just open the top slot and pour the BB's in to the drum mag. The top left side of the magazine has a slide out cover where you can lock one half of the fake bullet belt into it for some added realism.

To buy an airsoft weapon in the UK you must have a valid airsoft defence.

This is not a licence, it is basically just proof that you intend to buy an airsoft weapon for use in airsoft.

An airsoft defence could be a UKARA or membership with the British Airsoft Club, and various other forms of defence.

You can only obtain an airsoft defence once you are over the age of 18.

To get an airsoft defence the law is that you should play at least 3 games of airsoft, and that you must have been playing for at least two months.

You can still buy an airsoft gun without a defence, provided you are 18 or older. If you choose to do this we would, by law, two tone (paint in a bright colour) parts of your chosen weapon. This is because an airsoft gun is considered a RIF aka Realistic Imitation Firearm, because they are so close to the real steel, whereas when you paint parts of it in a bright colour it becomes an IF aka Imitation Firearm. The reason being that the bright colours make it look less realistic to the public, and therefor less likely to be mistaken as real, were it to be used for any other purpose than airsoft.

When you order a gun from us you will need to add your defence details in the comments section of the cart. If you do not have a defence you will need to write the colour that you wish to be used for two toning your airsoft weapon.

Here is what's stated in the VCRA (Violent Crime Reduction) Act:

For airsoft skirmishing, the Association of British Airsoft is putting in place arrangements to allow retailers to check that individual purchasers are members of a genuine skirmishing club or site. The key elements of these arrangements are:
1. new players must play at least 3 (three) times in a period of not less than two months before being offered membership
2. membership cards with a photograph and recognised format will be issued for production to retailers
3. A central database will be set up for retailers to cross-check a purchaser’s details
4. member’s entry on the database will be deleted if unused for 12 months.
The defence for airsoft skirmishing can apply to individual players because their purchase of realistic imitation firearms for this purpose is considered part of the “holding” of a skirmishing event.
