The MP5 SD6 is equipped with the highly safe M-SYSTEM, which uses FET (electronic trigger system) and a microcomputer to comprehensively monitor and control the FET, FC, battery and motor, reproducing three bursts, improved trigger response, compatibility with the genuine LiPo battery to be released in the future, as well as the exterior and operability. Main features

• Equipped with a shoot and recoil engine
  Pulling the trigger activates a 300g weight that mimics a bolt at the same time as firing, and the intense recoil generated inside the body is transmitted to the entire body. It is also equipped with an auto-stop system that stops firing when the magazine is empty, and a bolt release mechanism that releases the auto-stop by pulling the bolt handle. The model is designed for realism in operation and operability.
• Reproduction of three bursts.
  In addition to semi-/full-automatic firing, the three-burst firing system, which fires three rounds when the trigger is pulled, is fully reproduced. The selector, which can be operated from either the left or right side, is linked by an axis that passes through the mechanical box, ensuring smooth rotation and a solid clicking feel.
• Equipped with FET
  Instead of conventional mechanical switches, FETs (electronic switches) are used. Compared to mechanical switches, the current loss generated at the contact point is reduced and the response from the moment the trigger is pulled until the BB round is fired has been improved.
• M-SYSTEM.
  The M-SYSTEM is a newly developed microcomputer (MCU = microcontroller unit) that comprehensively monitors and controls the FET, FC (Fire Control), battery and motor, monitoring information from seven sensors and various voltages to switch firing modes and control motor rotation. The system also detects damage or abnormalities in various parts and stops operation.
• Silencer as standard equipment
  The silencer is machined from aluminium and has a rough, grainy finish. The sound-absorbing material inside reduces the firing noise. In addition, by removing the silencer, a muzzle option with 14 mm reverse thread specification can be fitted.
• Pursuit of appearance reproduction.
  Many metal parts, including the upper receiver, are powder-coated for a texture close to the real thing. The handguard is made of a resin material with a rubber-like texture, while the lower receiver, buttplate, selector and cocking lever are moulded from reinforced nylon resin, close to real material.
• Increased rigidity in various parts
  The cocking handle's component configuration has been reviewed & reinforced nylon resin has been adopted to allow the cocking lever to be tapped back after locking, commonly known as the 'HK Slap'. The sliding retractable stock also has a new structure for increased realism and rigidity.
• Realistic magazine with pressed finish.
  72-round capacity. Includes a magazine with a steel pressed outer case with all seams welded around the entire circumference, just like the real thing. The magazine is not compatible with other MP5 models in the series, such as the Standard Electric Gun.

To buy an airsoft weapon in the UK you must have a valid airsoft defence.

This is not a licence, it is basically just proof that you intend to buy an airsoft weapon for use in airsoft.

An airsoft defence could be a UKARA or membership with the British Airsoft Club, and various other forms of defence.

You can only obtain an airsoft defence once you are over the age of 18.

To get an airsoft defence the law is that you should play at least 3 games of airsoft, and that you must have been playing for at least two months.

You can still buy an airsoft gun without a defence, provided you are 18 or older. If you choose to do this we would, by law, two tone (paint in a bright colour) parts of your chosen weapon. This is because an airsoft gun is considered a RIF aka Realistic Imitation Firearm, because they are so close to the real steel, whereas when you paint parts of it in a bright colour it becomes an IF aka Imitation Firearm. The reason being that the bright colours make it look less realistic to the public, and therefor less likely to be mistaken as real, were it to be used for any other purpose than airsoft.

When you order a gun from us you will need to add your defence details in the comments section of the cart. If you do not have a defence you will need to write the colour that you wish to be used for two toning your airsoft weapon.

Here is what's stated in the VCRA (Violent Crime Reduction) Act:

For airsoft skirmishing, the Association of British Airsoft is putting in place arrangements to allow retailers to check that individual purchasers are members of a genuine skirmishing club or site. The key elements of these arrangements are:
1. new players must play at least 3 (three) times in a period of not less than two months before being offered membership
2. membership cards with a photograph and recognised format will be issued for production to retailers
3. A central database will be set up for retailers to cross-check a purchaser’s details
4. member’s entry on the database will be deleted if unused for 12 months.
The defence for airsoft skirmishing can apply to individual players because their purchase of realistic imitation firearms for this purpose is considered part of the “holding” of a skirmishing event.
