Dynatex has 20 years of experience in making airsoft grenades and their experience is clearly shown in their new Multi-Shot BFG - the 6209.

The new Dynatex 6209 multi shot blank firing grenade is about to step up airsoft game play. We all know that other brands have previously introduced multi-shot airsoft grenades to the market, but this is the first time that a 6 shot grenade has been combined with the 20 years of experience at Dynatex, and the consistency and reliability of this beast makes that very clear!

The cylindrical chamber of the Dynatex 6209 holds six .209 primers. After impact, it is super easy to rotate on to the next chamber - simply unscrew the base ring a couple of times, pull down the chamber and rotate, then re-tighten the base ring to lock in to place. Don't worry if you forget this though because the Dynatex 6209 impact grenade also comes with instructions in the box.

Dynatex is the original, and arguably, the best manufacturer of blank firing and training impact grenades on the airsoft market. This new release is certainly going to change training and airsoft in a bigger and better way. The quality and performance of the Dynatex BFGs are like no other - of all the test shots (and there have been many) we have never had a failed shot. This is also true of the new multi-shot 6209 grenade, which we have tested from as close as 40cm off the ground (hard floor) and it went off every time.

This is a full metal training grenade and is based on the same size and weight as the police training grenades used by UK police force. Like all Dynatex grenade products, they are fully proofed and safety approved by the proofing house before being allowed for sale. Dynatex has now switched entirely to .209 primers now for their airsoft grenades, as the proofing takes so long for 9mm and 12g blanks.

The entire mechanism design is patented by Dynatex (patent no. EP06251303.1) and on the 6209 it moves very freely and smoothly to allow detonation from nearly every angle. We know some players run their BFGs without pins in their pouches, but we highly recommend keeping the pin secured until you’re ready to throw it for the safety of you and others around you.

What’s in the box?

  • Dynatex 6209 multishot blank firing grenade
  • Bearing secured pin
  • 550 lanyard cord
  • Instruction Manual
  • Six shot .209 primer chamber ring
  • Silver knurled securing ring

The pin included with the Dynatex 6209 multishot impact grenade uses a bearing secure system so there is very little chance of the pin itself coming loose and falling out. The pin is easy to remove when you pull it, with only a little resistance from the pin, making room clearing a lot easier. Attached to the pin is a small green lanyard which you can attach anywhere on your kit allowing that extra security and stopping you from losing this high-quality pin, (we all know how easy they are to lose).

After various tests (and a lot of ear ringing) we failed to find a single fault with this grenade - something we have come to expect from Dynatex. We dropped it on its head, side, base and also from various heights. We found the minimum height to drop it from on its side was 40cm which is absolutely nothing compared to how hard and how far airsoft BFGs are usually thrown in the field. We are confident in saying you’ll find it super easy to set this blank firing grenade off every time you throw it, and if you don’t, then maybe it's time to reassess your throwing techniques.

If you have had airsoft BFGs before then you know how tiresome or annoying it is to carry the extra weight after being collected, and if you run six at a time on your kit that can add up to a lot of weight and space taken up. With this unit, it’ll be a mere fraction of the weight and only take up one pouch leaving you extra room for carrying other tactical gear and accessories.

Features:

  • Full metal construction
  • Up to six .209 primers
  • Rotating chamber
  • High quality bearing pin
  • Small lanyard
  • Easy to use

To buy an airsoft weapon in the UK you must have a valid airsoft defence.

This is not a licence, it is basically just proof that you intend to buy an airsoft weapon for use in airsoft.

An airsoft defence could be a UKARA or membership with the British Airsoft Club, and various other forms of defence.

You can only obtain an airsoft defence once you are over the age of 18.

To get an airsoft defence the law is that you should play at least 3 games of airsoft, and that you must have been playing for at least two months.
You can still buy an airsoft gun without a defence, provided you are 18 or older. If you choose to do this we would, by law, two tone (paint in a bright colour) parts of your chosen weapon. This is because an airsoft gun is considered a RIF aka Realistic Imitation Firearm, because they are so close to the real steel, whereas when you paint parts of it in a bright colour it becomes an IF aka Imitation Firearm. The reason being that the bright colours make it look less realistic to the public, and therefor less likely to be mistaken as real, were it to be used for any other purpose than airsoft.

When you order a gun from us you will need to add your defence details in the comments section of the cart. If you do not have a defence you will need to write the colour that you wish to be used for two toning your airsoft weapon.

Here is what's stated in the VCRA (Violent Crime Reduction) Act:

For airsoft skirmishing, the Association of British Airsoft is putting in place arrangements to allow retailers to check that individual purchasers are members of a genuine skirmishing club or site. The key elements of these arrangements are:
1. new players must play at least 3 (three) times in a period of not less than two months before being offered membership
2. membership cards with a photograph and recognised format will be issued for production to retailers
3. A central database will be set up for retailers to cross-check a purchaser’s details
4. member’s entry on the database will be deleted if unused for 12 months.
The defence for airsoft skirmishing can apply to individual players because their purchase of realistic imitation firearms for this purpose is considered part of the “holding” of a skirmishing event.
