ASG Scorpion Evo 3 A1 Carbine 2020 - FDE - New and Upgraded!

In stock

For years airsoft players have requested that ASG produce a tan or ‘Flat Dark Earth’ (FDE) or Battle Ship Grey (BSG) version of the EVO range, and now they have, brand new for 2020!

Key 'New Model' Features:

  • Single board processor and power unit
  • Better response time
  • Maximum supply voltage - 15v
  • Maximum burst load - 240a
  • Battery compatibility - all DC batteries available
  • Battery Connector - T-Plug
  • Maximum full auto shots - Limited by hardware set up only
  • Maximum speed semi-auto - 25 rounds per second
  • Safety - Mechanical

The new 2020 Evo's have been upgraded and now come with a new 'Out of the box' Electronic control unit. Engineered like a tank, the new Evo ECU will battle through the toughest airsoft scenarios imaginable.

With an entirely new design, the ECU is now made in one piece instead of two. This one-piece construction creates a closed unit, meaning the Evo ECU is now better protected from debris and dirt than ever before.

In addition to this new sturdy one-piece construction, entirely new circuits within the ECU housing now allow the Evo to be compatible with up to 15v, whilst providing open 'short circuit protection'.

The total short circuit protection (TSCP) feature will detect a short-circuit at any time from the moment the battery is connected to the moment it is disconnected.

The system automatically monitors the system for a short circuit on battery connection, on trigger pull, and on when the motor begins to spin. If a short circuit or overload is detected the system will immediately;y kill all processes and shut down the system.

The new Evo ECU now has a better trigger response time so semi-automatic shots can be applied even faster, the only limits are your hardware set up and the speed of your trigger finger.

The ASG Evo has also been upgraded 'Out of the box' with T-Plugs to better accommodate the high power batteries players use and provide more efficient power transfer.

The CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 has been envisioned, developed and built by ASG, to bring the Airsoft player as close to the experience of handling the real EVO 3 as possible.

Like a real gun, the EVO 3 will stop firing when its magazine runs empty, and require activation of the bolt catch after a reloaded magazine has been inserted.

Where the standard in Airsoft is to replicate the exterior in appearance only, the EVO 3 is built to be as tough as the real thing, not just to look like it.

The internals have been purpose-built to deliver advanced functions by using custom electronics while having the strength necessary to handle both powerful springs and high-speed solutions. This version of the ASG Scorpion Evo has been specially made for the UK so is in line with the rules surrounding a maximum of 350 FPS.

To buy an airsoft weapon in the UK you must have a valid airsoft defence.

This is not a licence, it is basically just proof that you intend to buy an airsoft weapon for use in airsoft.

An airsoft defence could be a UKARA or membership with the British Airsoft Club, and various other forms of defence.

You can only obtain an airsoft defence once you are over the age of 18.

To get an airsoft defence the law is that you should play at least 3 games of airsoft, and that you must have been playing for at least two months.
You can still buy an airsoft gun without a defence, provided you are 18 or older. If you choose to do this we would, by law, two tone (paint in a bright colour) parts of your chosen weapon. This is because an airsoft gun is considered a RIF aka Realistic Imitation Firearm, because they are so close to the real steel, whereas when you paint parts of it in a bright colour it becomes an IF aka Imitation Firearm. The reason being that the bright colours make it look less realistic to the public, and therefor less likely to be mistaken as real, were it to be used for any other purpose than airsoft.

When you order a gun from us you will need to add your defence details in the comments section of the cart. If you do not have a defence you will need to write the colour that you wish to be used for two toning your airsoft weapon.

Here is what's stated in the VCRA (Violent Crime Reduction) Act:

For airsoft skirmishing, the Association of British Airsoft is putting in place arrangements to allow retailers to check that individual purchasers are members of a genuine skirmishing club or site. The key elements of these arrangements are:
    1. new players must play at least 3 (three) times in a period of not less than two months before being offered membership
    2. membership cards with a photograph and recognised format will be issued for production to retailers
    3. A central database will be set up for retailers to cross-check a purchaser’s details
    4. member’s entry on the database will be deleted if unused for 12 months.
The defence for airsoft skirmishing can apply to individual players because their purchase of realistic imitation firearms for this purpose is considered part of the “holding” of a skirmishing event.
