Bolt SR47 BRSS Heavy Recoil Black Airsoft Rifle

Bolt SR47 BRSS Heavy Recoil Black Airsoft Rifle

The Bolt SR47 Airsoft Gun is a unique blend of the AK and AR platforms, giving you all the benefits of an AR based platform, but still the high capacity mags used in the AK Series rifles.

This electric-powered (AEG) Airsoft Gun, by Bolt, is a unique combination of the AK and AR platform, well known on the airsoft market as the SR-47.

This AR platform rifle accepts AK magazines and features K.A.C. trademarks and a super strong build quality. The metal components include the outer barrel assembly, handguard, receiver, buffer tube and various trims, which provide a realistic weight, which when combined with the vicious recoil gives you a startlingly realistic experience. Polymer has been used for the pistol grip and stock, but it's a high density Nylon Fibre polymer which is a tough, quality material that feels and looks great.

This RIF has a rear wired design and is wired to use a mini tamiya battery connection. The included recoil system takes up the space in the buffer tube, with battery room either side in the crane stock, making crane stock/split style batteries the most convenient for this airsoft weapon. All you need to do to fit the battery is remove the butt plate at the back of the stock and slide your split battery in either side of the stock.

Another great feature of the stock and buffer plate on the Bolt SR47 are the QD sling sockets for the addition of quick-release sling loops. The handguard and receiver are 20mm railed which allows you to attach any standard Picatinny accessories. Underneath the alloy-constructed flash hider is a 14mm CCW thread giving you the option to install your own suppressors, tracer units and other muzzle devices.

The Bolt Recoil Shock System (or BRSS) is the most outstanding feature of what makes these replicas awesome, as well as providing a heavy, weighted recoil when you pull the trigger. This gives the user a strong recoil effect without having to use a gas system, which can sometimes give you a disadvantage due to the temperament and small mag capacity.

This airsoft replica features a reinforced Piston which actuates an ERG style recoil mechanism in the rear of the RIF, delivering a strong kick into your shoulder every time the replica cycles. This means you get to enjoy the joy of realistic blowback action, with the benefits of high cap mags and consistent performance. Unlike traditional 'recoil systems' which simply move the dust cover backwards and forwards, but don't give much of an effect, this style of recoil involves a weighted piston moving back and forth at the rear, which brings a whole new level of realism, and feels incredibly realistic and satisfying.

Included in the box is a 600rnd High Cap AK magazine made to Bolts usual high standard, as well as a spare Mini Tamiya connector with wiring and extra pins, allowing you to either replace or extend the current wiring in the RIF.

In conclusion, if you are looking for the look of an AR platform, with the capacity of an AK, and a realistic blowback action but without the inconvenience of a gas rifle then by Jove you've found it!

To buy an airsoft weapon in the UK you must have a valid airsoft defence.

This is not a licence, it is basically just proof that you intend to buy an airsoft weapon for use in airsoft.

An airsoft defence could be a UKARA or membership with the British Airsoft Club, and various other forms of defence.

You can only obtain an airsoft defence once you are over the age of 18.

To get an airsoft defence the law is that you should play at least 3 games of airsoft, and that you must have been playing for at least two months.
You can still buy an airsoft gun without a defence, provided you are 18 or older. If you choose to do this we would, by law, two tone (paint in a bright colour) parts of your chosen weapon. This is because an airsoft gun is considered a RIF aka Realistic Imitation Firearm, because they are so close to the real steel, whereas when you paint parts of it in a bright colour it becomes an IF aka Imitation Firearm. The reason being that the bright colours make it look less realistic to the public, and therefor less likely to be mistaken as real, were it to be used for any other purpose than airsoft.

When you order a gun from us you will need to add your defence details in the comments section of the cart. If you do not have a defence you will need to write the colour that you wish to be used for two toning your airsoft weapon.

Here is what's stated in the VCRA (Violent Crime Reduction) Act:

For airsoft skirmishing, the Association of British Airsoft is putting in place arrangements to allow retailers to check that individual purchasers are members of a genuine skirmishing club or site. The key elements of these arrangements are:
      1. new players must play at least 3 (three) times in a period of not less than two months before being offered membership
      2. membership cards with a photograph and recognised format will be issued for production to retailers
      3. A central database will be set up for retailers to cross-check a purchaser’s details
      4. member’s entry on the database will be deleted if unused for 12 months.
The defence for airsoft skirmishing can apply to individual players because their purchase of realistic imitation firearms for this purpose is considered part of the “holding” of a skirmishing event.
