The Maple Leaf Super Macaron is an especially developed bucking to be used in your AEG or SRS replica.

The Super Macaron bucking is best used in conjunction with the Omega Hop-up Tensioner, and Crazy Jet Barrel to really maximize your range and accuracy. It is designed to adapt the maple leaf crazy jet barrels, which are considered VSR/GBB cut barrels, to be used in AEG hop-up systems.

While standard AEG buckings typically require "windowed" or "bridged" barrels, the Maple Leaf Super Macaron series bucking slides onto "open cut or bridgeless" barrels, just as a VSR style bucking would, but with the appropriate outer diameter to accommodate AEG Hop-up chambers, making it also compatible with usual "windowed" or "bridged" barrels.

This Maple Leaf bucking will fit bridged as well as bridgeless barrels, so be sure that your hop up chamber is designed for AEG buckings before ordering, as most GBB/VSR guns are designed for the thicker GBB/VSR buckings.

Key Features:

  • Optimal inner and outer sealing
  • Focused on accuracy and range improvement
  • Easy to install
  • Fits AEG bridged barrels and GBB / VSR unbridged barrels.

Another thing to note about The Super Macaron is that Maple Leaf offer different degrees to make it perfect for your setup. In terms of how the degree is effective, for example with higher FPS rifles you be best using the harder degree ones. However, with colder weather, you might want to step down 50 degree to avoid a stiff bucking. Harder buckings wear down less quickly than the softer ones. Softer ones give more consistency in your shots but wear down quicker.

What does the degree mean on a hop bucking?

The degrees of the hop-up buckings mark their compatibility with guns of different muzzle energies, or different power levels. In general, you could say that the more powerful the gun, the higher the degree. The manufacturer recommends choosing the degree of your bucking as follows:

Degree and colour for recommended power range :
  • 50 : Less than 110 m/s (1.2 J)
  • 60 : 90-120 m/s (0.8-1.5 J)
  • 70 : 110-140 m/s (1.2-2 J)
  • 75 : 130-150 m/s (1.7-2.25 J)
  • 80 : over 150 m/s (2.25 J)
The compatibility of the bucking:
The Maple Leaf Macaron hop-up bucking is compatible with electric guns made with Tokyo Marui standards. Note, however, that the nub of the bucking is shaped a bit differently, which means that the hop-up window of the inner barrel should be at least the size of the nub, which is around 4 mm or longer.

To buy an airsoft weapon in the UK you must have a valid airsoft defence.

This is not a licence, it is basically just proof that you intend to buy an airsoft weapon for use in airsoft.

An airsoft defence could be a UKARA or membership with the British Airsoft Club, and various other forms of defence.

You can only obtain an airsoft defence once you are over the age of 18.

To get an airsoft defence the law is that you should play at least 3 games of airsoft, and that you must have been playing for at least two months.
You can still buy an airsoft gun without a defence, provided you are 18 or older. If you choose to do this we would, by law, two tone (paint in a bright colour) parts of your chosen weapon. This is because an airsoft gun is considered a RIF aka Realistic Imitation Firearm, because they are so close to the real steel, whereas when you paint parts of it in a bright colour it becomes an IF aka Imitation Firearm. The reason being that the bright colours make it look less realistic to the public, and therefor less likely to be mistaken as real, were it to be used for any other purpose than airsoft.

When you order a gun from us you will need to add your defence details in the comments section of the cart. If you do not have a defence you will need to write the colour that you wish to be used for two toning your airsoft weapon.

Here is what's stated in the VCRA (Violent Crime Reduction) Act:

For airsoft skirmishing, the Association of British Airsoft is putting in place arrangements to allow retailers to check that individual purchasers are members of a genuine skirmishing club or site. The key elements of these arrangements are:
1. new players must play at least 3 (three) times in a period of not less than two months before being offered membership
2. membership cards with a photograph and recognised format will be issued for production to retailers
3. A central database will be set up for retailers to cross-check a purchaser’s details
4. member’s entry on the database will be deleted if unused for 12 months.
The defence for airsoft skirmishing can apply to individual players because their purchase of realistic imitation firearms for this purpose is considered part of the “holding” of a skirmishing event.
