The Specna Arms SA-A38 ONE™ Kestrel™ airsoft rifle ETU
The Kestrel module™ V2 Basic ETU by Eshooter is an advanced ETU system characterised by ease of use, robustness and functionality. The Kestrel™ V2 Basic is programmable with trigger pulls, works with both brush and brushless motors in High Speed and High Torque configurations and increases the reliability of the replica and protects internal parts in the event of overloads due to motor damage or battery drain.
Functions of the Kestrel system™ Basic:
-Pre-cocking programmable in 5 stages with piston position learning.
(function requires a few single shots after connecting the battery for calibration)
-Active Break. The replica performs a full cycle with each shot, so no unnecessary overloads are created in the GB due to performing part of the cycle.
-Locked Rotor Protection, feature protects the inside of the replica in the event of motor damage
-Battery Drain Protection. Battery Drain Protection. The motor vibrates, the blue LED illuminates five times to indicate battery discharge
-Low/ High Voltage Protection. The module detects the number of battery cells and adjusts operation to different numbers of cells and voltages from 6V to 17V.
The Specna Arms airsoft rifle SA-A38 ONE™ Kestrel™ ETU
The SA-A38 airsoft rifle by Specna Arms has been made predominantly from a uniform zinc-aluminium alloy, with the use of steel elements at the most critical points of the replica (so all screws, pins and the tactical sling handle are steel). The buttstock and pistol grip are made of polymer polymer. The body of the replica and the RIS rail assembly have been subjected process of anodisation, which guarantees a high degree of protection of the replica against corrosion. The painting of the replica itself was done by a powder coating process, after the surface had been sandblasted. This ensures a much higher than usual abrasion resistance of the applied paint.
The replica has been very well-fitted - in a way that could previously be observed almost exclusively in manufacturers of the G&P or Classic Army class - and perfectly balanced. This ensures almost ideal manoeuvrability of the replica, while its weight is also almost imperceptible once the replica is placed against the shoulder.
The replica uses the quick spring change system, the so-called Enter & Convert™. This allows for quick and efficient adjustment of the replica's power to the conditions expected on the battlefield without the need to have access to a workshop or a number of specialised tools - after removing the gearbox from the body of the replica, the spring replacement process itself takes literally seconds.
The advantages of the Enter & Convert™ system are difficult to overestimate. In light of the prevailing tendency throughout Europe to apply legal limits to the firing speed of the replica and the arrangements that exist within the environments themselves, this system guarantees the user considerable possibilities and a great deal of freedom. The Enter & Convert™ system makes it possible with a minimum of time to replace the mainspring and thus adapt the replica's exit velocity to the playing area so as to guarantee an ideal compromise between the effectiveness of the firearm and the safety of yourself and other players.
The replica has been fully adapted to work with batteries of the type LiPo and LiFe. With a base initial discharge velocity of the order ~410 FPS guaranteed by the pre-installed mainspring, the replica is perfectly suited for medium range operations. A M90-type spring is also included, which allows the initial velocity to be reduced to ~310 FPS making the replica perfectly suited for short range or indoor operations.
The gearbox, reinforced at the height of the cylinder head, conceals a steel spring guide that is part of the Enter & Convert™ system and set on 8mm ball bearingsh and washers steel gears. The system is secured by four anti-reverse pawls. The lightweight, polycarbonate polymer piston is fitted with a steel tooth to increase its strength. It also uses type 2 cylinder and steel cut-off lever, as well as metal hop-up chamber.
Upgraded version has a number of new reinforced parts such as:
- a set of reinforced steel gears
- a steel spring guide
- a lightweight polymer piston
- a sealed aluminium piston head
- a sealed metal cylinder head
- a sealed metal nozzle
The Upgraded version is fitted with a 22mm dorsal RIS rail, a set of front MLOK rails and an adjustable buttstock. A flip-up sighting device has been fitted on the upper RIS rail, but can be freely replaced by any optoelectronic sighting device. Thanks to an extendable buttstock finished with a foot with an anti-slip texture, it is possible to adjust the length of the replica to the shooter's build and preferences. The flame suppressor is mounted on a 14-mm left-hand thread, which makes it possible to attach a sound suppressor in its place.
To increase the realism of the gameplay, the replica is also equipped with a functional breech release.
The replica also comes with a polymer hi-cap magazine that holds 300 rounds.
The Specna Arms replicas are compatible with many magazines available on the market, including Manufacturers such as:
- BOYI
- Airsoft Systems
- SRC
- King Arms
- MAG
- STAR
- ACM
