Specna Arms SA-A90 SAEC™ System Assault Rifle Replica

SA-A90 assault rifle replica by Specna Arms is made largely from a uniform zinc and aluminium alloy, reinforced with steel elements in the most vulnerable points of the replica (steel elements – all the screws, pins and tactical sling swivels). Both the stock storing the battery and the pistol grip were made from polymer. The receiver of the replica has undergone the process of anodizing, which guarantees high degree of protection against corrosion. The paint was applied via a process of powder coating, after having the surface undergo the process of sandblasting prior to the application of paint. This provides a much higher than usual resistance of the applied paint to abrasion. The receiver bears Specna Arms markings.

The replica’s parts fit very well together – in a way that could be thus far noticed solely in replicas by such top-tier manufacturers as G&P or Classic Army, the replica is also perfectly balanced. This allows for almost ideal maneuverability of the replica and its weight is almost unnoticeable once the replica has been shouldered.

The replica features a new generation quick spring release system, so-called SAEC™. Due to that system it is possible to rapidly and quickly adapt the power of the replica to the conditions expected on the playing field without the necessity to have access to a workshop or a set of special tools. The spring change process is even faster than in the case of the previous version of the system.

Thanks to the SAEC™ system there is no need to take out the gearbox from the replica – all that is required is to remove the stock while removing a special pin located beneath it together with a bearing-mounted spring slide. We exchange the main spring, screw in the pin back in the body, attach the stock and… we’re back in the game! The entire process requires only a long cross-head screwdriver for removal of the stock.
The advantages of SAEC™ system are hard to overstate. In the light of the current tendency in the whole Europe to use legal limitations regarding the muzzle velocity of replicas or internal regulations inside various groups, the system guarantees the user a varied set of possibilities and much freedom. SAEC™ system allows with a minimal amount of time to change the main spring, thusly customize the muzzle velocity towards the area of the game in such a way so as to guarantee an ideal compromise between effectiveness of fire and safety for the user himself as well as other participants.

The replica is fully compatible with LiPo and LiFe batteries.

A reinforced at the cylinder level gearbox contains a steel spring slide that is an element of SAEC™ system and mounted on 8 mm ball bearings and washers steel gears. The system is secured with four anti-reversal latches. A light, made of polycarbonate polymer piston is equipped with a set of steel teeth in order to increase its durability. Also implemented were a type 2 cylinder and a steel circuit-breaker, as well as a metal Hop-Up chamber.

The upgraded version features an array of new, reinforced parts such as:

– set of reinforced, steel gears
– bearing-mounted, steel spring slide
– light, polymer piston with a steel strip
– aluminum tightened piston head
– metal cylinder head
– tightened, metal nozzle

The replica is equipped with a 22 mm top RIS rail and a fixed stock characteristic for M16 type replicas. The top RIS rail features metal flip-up iron sights, which can be freely detached in order to make room for the attachment of a chosen optoelectronic aiming device. Standard flash hider is based on 14 mm left-hand thread, which allows the attachment of a silencer in its place.

The model features a modular handguard with a KeyMod mount as well as standard threads that allow for the attachment of classic RIS rail strips. Dedicated segments, for instance, Picatinny rails (KeyMod nuts) can be attached to the KeyMod handguard in any position or configuration due to holes placed around the grip (KeyMod slots).

This is an airsoft version of KeyMod grip, its size may differ from the original. We do not guarantee full compatibility of KeyMod grips with KeyMod dedicated accessories.

In order to enhance the realism of the game, the replica also features an operational bolt-catch mechanism.

The replica comes with a steel, 300 BB, Hi-Cap magazine. Its colour pattern is appropriate for magazines intended for live firearms typically used by armed forces.

SAEC™ system is included in the European Patent with a number: 002639500

To buy an airsoft weapon in the UK you must have a valid airsoft defence.

This is not a licence, it is basically just proof that you intend to buy an airsoft weapon for use in airsoft.

An airsoft defence could be a UKARA or membership with the British Airsoft Club, and various other forms of defence.

You can only obtain an airsoft defence once you are over the age of 18.

To get an airsoft defence the law is that you should play at least 3 games of airsoft, and that you must have been playing for at least two months.
You can still buy an airsoft gun without a defence, provided you are 18 or older. If you choose to do this we would, by law, two tone (paint in a bright colour) parts of your chosen weapon. This is because an airsoft gun is considered a RIF aka Realistic Imitation Firearm, because they are so close to the real steel, whereas when you paint parts of it in a bright colour it becomes an IF aka Imitation Firearm. The reason being that the bright colours make it look less realistic to the public, and therefor less likely to be mistaken as real, were it to be used for any other purpose than airsoft.

When you order a gun from us you will need to add your defence details in the comments section of the cart. If you do not have a defence you will need to write the colour that you wish to be used for two toning your airsoft weapon.

Here is what's stated in the VCRA (Violent Crime Reduction) Act:

For airsoft skirmishing, the Association of British Airsoft is putting in place arrangements to allow retailers to check that individual purchasers are members of a genuine skirmishing club or site. The key elements of these arrangements are:
      1. new players must play at least 3 (three) times in a period of not less than two months before being offered membership
      2. membership cards with a photograph and recognised format will be issued for production to retailers
      3. A central database will be set up for retailers to cross-check a purchaser’s details
      4. member’s entry on the database will be deleted if unused for 12 months.
The defence for airsoft skirmishing can apply to individual players because their purchase of realistic imitation firearms for this purpose is considered part of the “holding” of a skirmishing event.
