Sniper Loadout

Sniper Loadout

Hello Airsofters! Its Helen here and I'm back with another loadout!

This week I have been looking into Sniper loadouts. I am going to focus on the style that would suit any Sniper playing at our game site PTC Airsoft Warrington! As PTC is an outdoors, grassy with woodland areas you would ideally be wanting something camo to hide you and your RIF.

For this kind of load out you would need:

  • Eye protection - Obvious one I know - but I always like to mention it! We cannot recommend Riley's Eye Protection enough! There's an excellent range of variety to suit everyone.
  • A sniper rifle - sniper rifles are down to personal preference. Many people like to get their sniper rifle painted up so it blends in to the background making it harder for the opposing team members to spot you! We have some awesome sniper rifles in stock - click the link for more!
  • A decent scope! We have some excellent scopes in store and online. From both Wulf and Fire field both are perfect for sniping!
  • An optional extra would be a bi-pod they start at around £14.95.
  • A pistol for close contact hits - you don't want to be shooting someone at close range with a sniper rifle. You know its going to hurt like Hell and could cause a serious injury. So a pistol for up close contact is essential. We have some pistols in that would be perfect for the job!
  • A ghillie suit or a combination of camo clothing, with a camo cape, or even make your own with leaves! Trust me, it may sound daft to some but - its been done before!
  • A sniper utility pouch - to store your extra mags, BBs, speed loader and pyro (snacks too if you are out on an all dayer)
  • Sturdy boots
  • Layers of clothing - it can get a bit damp and uncomfortable lying on the ground for long periods of time
  • And finally - patience! Being a sniper isn't about running and spraying BBs its about the element of surprise -  taking the perfect shot at the right moment and accurately!

For all of your sniper needs and any questions about going down the sniper route please speak to our staff instore and online. We are always happy to help.
