What’s your loadout style?

This week I have been learning about the CTSFO loadout. CTFSO stands for Counter Terrorist Specialist Firearms Officer. A bit of a mouth full so you can totally understand why it has been abbreviated!

The CTSFO style tends to be grey apparel. A grey or MTP grey Spec-Ops long sleeved shirt and a pair of grey pants. The wolf grey set by Emerson Gear is perfect for the CTSFO loadout style, it is a little pricey compared to the likes of Kombat UK or Viper Tactical but the quality is worth the cost – in my opinion.

The usual sort of weaponry used by CTSFO consists of a Sig Sauer Carbine. The Sig Sauer MCX Carbine takes both P-Mags and Stanag magazines which is handy with it being a front wired RIF. The rail pieces on the handrail work perfectly for accessories such as Sights, PEQ boxes, foregrips, torches and lasers. As a secondary weapon, the CTSFO are usually seen sporting a Glock 17. You can’t go wrong with a Glock. They are used by many areas of law enforcement across the globe.

The typical CTFSO loadout consists of:

• A grey Spec-Ops Shirt
• Grey Pants
• Black or Grey Boots
• Eye protection – essential by law.
• Radios/ earpiece (even if just for show and not to use as a team)
• Black or Grey gloves.
• A grey or black tactical vest to carry extra mags.
• A Belt used to carry your side arm and dump pouch.
• A black helmet with a grey helmet cover and or grey mohawk
• A CTSFO Patch across the back of your tac vest
• A good bonus would be a grey Delta Mike to protect your teeth!
