WoSport Spitfire Flame Tracer Review
Click this link to check out the WoSport Spitfire Flame Tracer, one of our favourite new accessories on the airsoft scene.
There are a billion things we love about this beast, but we will try to make it brief.
The first thing to note is that compromise is no longer an issue. We have players that love to use a tracer unit, as well as players that love a flash simulator - now they can have both!
This tracer and flash simulator has a 14mm Counter Clockwise thread and also includes a thread adaptor to make it an 11mm Clockwise thread. The unit itself measures 8cm in length and has a width of 3.5cm. Weighing in at just 74g means that it won't add a load of weight once attached, which could make your weapon front heavy - never good for those who like to shoot on target!
It is clear that thought has been put in to the construction of this master piece, with an aluminium outer shell to protect the electronic inner components and built-in lithium battery.
Specifications:
- 14mm CCW thread (also includes 11mm CW thread adaptor)
- Length - 8cm
- Width - 3.5cm
- Weight - 74g
- Aluminium outer shell
- Electronic inner components
- Built-in lithium rechargeable battery
Now, lets look at some of the key features of this magnificent tracer unit/flash simulator.
One of the most important things to note is that the Spitfire Flame Tracer has electronic sensors which means it knows when it is in use and when it's not. Thanks to this features the unit automatically turns on when a BB passes through, and it automatically goes in to stand-by mode too, so no draining the battery if you forget to check it is turned off.
Another handy feature, which applies most to those who prefer switching things up - although this is a tracer unit and flash simulator, if you find yourself in a position where the flash simulator could be a give away, you can switch it off to use the unit purely as a tracer unit without the flash.
This weapon accessory is waterproof, so can be used in any weather. Its rechargeable battery can last up to 4 hours continuous use on a full charge. You will even note that it offers 35 rounds per second tracking, multi fitment options and 5w high power saturated charging.

Conclusion:
We have had the pleasure of testing one of these babies and we think it's fantastic! As a tracer unit, the BB’s were lit like fireflies, easily as good, if not better, than other well known brands. The addition of the flame effect, we felt enhanced the overall look and feel, and the flash from the flame tracer is super-bright and actually looks quite authentic. Don't take our word for it, watch this...
The unit itself feels strong and very stable, it is easy to use both in terms of operation, and also when it comes to charging. The auto on/off feature ensures that the battery time remains optimal and it seems to handle rapid fire very well.
The only downside we could find was that you may find it expensive to run as, once trying this beast for yourself, you will only ever want to use tracer BBs!
